I haven’t done a round-up style post like this in a while, but they used to be some of my favourites to write. Welcome back to the What’s on my Radar series in which I write a quick roundup of what I’ve been loving lately! Here’s what’s tickling my pickle these days.
Beauty – What I’ve been loving lately
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Conditioner
One of my favourite beauty bloggers raves about this product all the time. Until recently, I didn’t think it was available in Canada so I was thrilled when I noticed a lone bottle of the stuff at the drugstore a few weeks ago. After washing my hair I apply this liberally to my locks, followed by a curl cream. The result is shiny, bouncy hair with nary a tangle in sight! This product definitely gets a 10 from me.
Jo Malone Poppy & Barley Cologne
I’ve talked about my love of Jo Malone perfumes before, you can read the post here. These fragrances are luxurious, long lasting, and the scents are gorgeous. When I saw that Sephora was offering a sample size of Jo Malone’s latest launch, Poppy & Barley, I made an order and grabbed it! The scent is a bit unusual for me because it’s a floral but it’s not overpowering. It’s light and fresh. It was love at first spritz.
Jewelry
I tend to wear the same pieces of jewelry everyday and because of this, I rarely purchase anything new. However, when I spotted Machete earrings on Lee’s blog I was swooned. A few months ago I added the Mini Hoops in Classic Tortoise (pictured above) to my collection and I’ve worn them pretty much every day since.
What I’ve been loving lately – Books and TV
I read The Handmaid’s Tale many years ago, and again when I started watching the tv series. When I found out that Margaret Atwood was coming out with a sequel I was thrilled and I bought it the day it was released. I read it over the next two evenings and I could not put it down. If you haven’t read this yet I suggest you run out and grab it right now! It was so, so good.
If you’re looking for something binge-worthy on Netflix you should check out Unbelievable. Without giving too much away, it’s based on a true story of a rape victim who was not believed. The acting is great and the show is especially poignant in the Me Too era. The subject matter is heavy but the show is gripping and I loved it.
Tell me in the comments what you’ve been loving lately!

Loving lately: Who the Hell is Hamish (podcast about an Australian conman), Chameleon cold brew (saves me so much time in the morning to just add water to this and go), Drunk Elephant protini moisturizer (makes me look so awake somehow!).
I’ve been lusting after Machete earrings for a while–are they heavy? That’s my only concern 🙂
I love that moisturizer too! Thank you for sharing! The earrings are not heavy at all. I barely notice when I have them on.
Unbelievable is in my Netflix queue; I love Merritt Weaver and Toni Collette (Fun fact: at least once per week someone random points out how much I resemble Toni Collete. Often they don’t remember her name but reference Little Miss Sunshine).
Right now I’m very invested in Succession on HBO (simultaneously dark and hilarious) and the final season of The Affair on Showtime. I don’t have a lot of time for television during the week but play catch up on Sundays. I mostly listen to podcasts and audiobooks during the day when working. I love Lexicon Valley, This American Life (a lot of repeats these days) and for true crime – Casefile.
I wish we had more access to HBO shows in Canada.
Toni Collette was SO GOOD in Unbelievable!
I’m a true crime lover too:) I have to start listening to podcasts! Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely post! I am loving all things pumpkin, my orange head band with a bow that is perfect for autumn and my new black sweater I got really cheap. 🙂
Thank you! I’m all about pumpkin too!
I really like your round up posts because I always discover new things to try Do now I have my eyes set on the Jo Malone perfume, it sounds like ascent I would like. Can’t wait to shop at Sephora again!!

Thanks! Jo Malone fragrances are so gorgeous. Spendy but worth it imo!
I’ve heard lots of good things about Unbelievable! I don’t have a Netflix account at the moment but that’s definitely on my list when I finally do! x
It’s so good!
