Today we’re going to be talking about mascara, or more specifically, my all time favourite mascara. Guess what! It’s from the drugstore and won’t cost you your first born! I think that mascara is definitely something you should not be spending gobs of money on, particularly because it’s only good for about six months.L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black mascara can be purchased at any drugstore carrying L’Oreal products so it’s easy to find.
Sometimes people ask me how I get my curls looking defined. After giving them the stink eye because I assume they’re taking the piss, I relent and mumble something about conditioner. That’s not the whole story.
I’ve been thinking about doing some sort of theme week or something like that for a while. I ended up deciding to do 10 Days of Favourites. 10 because I got tired of taking pictures after taking that many. Obviously I am methodical when it comes to blogging.
So, my pets, welcome to the first post of my 10 Days of Favourites (do you think I can blog 10 days in a row?)!
Day 1: Hair
I just downloaded a new photo app for my phone so prepare yourselves for some tackiness slickly edited pictures.
I’ve been a devoted fan of Sebastian’s Potion 9 for some time now. This is a fantastic product for evil curly hair. It provides hold without crunchiness. You can wet it and rework the product throughout the day if your hair starts to frizz, which is the best thing about it. It smells divine. DIVINE. You know how when you visit your hairdresser they always have shampoo that smells amazing? Potion 9 smells like that. Light, fresh, yummy.
L’Oreal Evercreme Nourishing Leave-In Spray is new to my arsenal but I really like it. I ran out of my AG leave-in conditioner last week and didn’t want to break the bank replacing it. One of my favourite bloggers, Essie Button (www.essiebutton.com), raves about this line and I’ve been keen to try it. I’m converted. For a drug store product this stuff is fantastic. It tames frizz, gives curls definition, and isn’t too heavy. It smells like caramel. Yum.
What are some of your favourite hair products?
