Since learning that L’Oreal products are not cruelty free, I’ve been on the hunt for a mascara to replace the L’Oreal Telescopic that I used to use. After reading a number of positive reviews I decided to order Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara. Tarte products are cruelty free and formulated without parabens, mineral oils, and all the other nasties.
I like to use a leave in conditioner on my hair before applying my styling product. This one was fine. It was not too heavy or greasy. It did not have too much of a scent. I love the Deva Curl shampoo and conditioner that I use but I have to say that this leave-in is nothing special. It does the job but I wasn’t blown away by it and I don’t feel the need to repurchase.
Dry lips. Ugh. For a lipstick lover dry lips are the worst. They are uncomfortable, even painful, stubborn, and not nice to look at. The climate in Yukon is exceptionally dry. Combine that with cold temperatures and electric heat and you’ve got the perfect recipe for dry, flaky lips.
Today we’re going to be talking about mascara, or more specifically, my all time favourite mascara. Guess what! It’s from the drugstore and won’t cost you your first born! I think that mascara is definitely something you should not be spending gobs of money on, particularly because it’s only good for about six months.L’Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black mascara can be purchased at any drugstore carrying L’Oreal products so it’s easy to find.
