lilah b. first registered on my radar a year or so ago on Instagram. I saw a photo of one of the Divine Duo Lip & Cheek duos and thought that it was gorgeous. The brand came up more and more as I looked into cruelty free and clean beauty. I kept coming back to it and revisiting the products on the Sephora website. I finally took the plunge a month or so ago and ordered one of the Lip & Cheek duos for my own. The shade b. True, a gorgeous mauve, was my pick. Let’s dive in to my lilah b. review!
lilah b. products are created with a minimalist approach to beauty in mind. The focus is on achieving a complete look with less. From the lilah b. website:
And so lilah b. was born – a streamlined color collection of luxurious, multi-purpose products providing the modern day woman with only the tools she really needs.
lilah b. review
I have to admit that I was drawn to lilah b. because of the gorgeous packaging and it does not disappoint. The stone compact is weighty, smooth, and satisfying. So, what about the product inside? I like it. I don’t use it on my lips because they are always dry and this, unfortunately, emphasizes any texture. It’s perfect for my cheeks though. It lasts all day and the colour is subtle and glowy, which is perfect for summer. I’ve been loving using this as a cream blush. Add some bronzer, a dewy highlight, a swipe or three of mascara, and a light lip gloss and my summery look is complete.
I’ve yet to try anything else from lilah b. but I’ve got my eye on the Marvelous Matte Crème Foundation and the Divine Duo Lip and Cheek in the shade b sassy which is a lovely bight pink.
lilah b. products are vegan, cruelty free, and formulated with clean ingredients.
