Welcome to my first Everlane review! I’ve talked a fair bit about sweatshirts already, but I felt that there was room for one more in my collection. My Everlane Lightweight French Terry Crew is different from my other sweatshirts in shape, fit, colour, and fabric so I think it was a worthwhile addition to my closet.

Why Everlane:
Everlane is committed to ethical clothing production and sustainability. They use only the most ethical factories around the world – factories that provide their employees with fair wages, reasonable hours, and a safe and healthy working environment. After the collapse of the Rana Plaza factory in Bangladesh on April 24, 2013, which killed 1,134 people, the unethical treatment of garment workers for fast fashion retailers was brought to light. In choosing to shop with ethical companies, we choose to tell fast fashion that mistreatment of our fellow human beings is unacceptable.
Everlane Lightweight French Terry Review:
The packaging my items were shipped in was very minimal. A paper envelope that looked as if it had been used before – LOVE.My first thought when I saw my sweatshirt was “I hope I don’t spill anything on this!” I tend to wear black, black, and more black but I forced myself to go out of my comfort zone with this top and went for Rose – a light pink shade. I’m always armed with a tide pen so I’m feeling positive so far! The shade is pretty and works well with my fair complexion.
I love the shape of this top. It’s a slightly boxy and cropped so it’s perfect for tucking into high waisted bottoms. The arms have a bat wing shape and so are loose and comfy. It’s also super lightweight (as the name would suggest), so it’s a nice option as we head into warmer weather. The roomy shape also makes it quite airy. I’ve styled it casually for running errands on the weekend, but I’ve also worn it to work a few times with my black skirt, ankle boots and delicate gold jewelry.
I hope you enjoyed my first Everylane review! Please let me know if there are other ethical brands you’d like to hear about.

I heart the minimalist vibes this top brings and that peachy color is brilliant on you! You’re totally right, this top would look awesome with some gold jewelry, I can see it so well ๐

Thank you! I am all about gold jewelry, I have been for ages now!
Gold jewelry is so elegant and edgy at the same time ๐
That color really goes well with your skin, and I can imagine it looking very nice when dressed up with a skirt and gold jewelry.

Thank you Linda! I do like it with a dressier outfit:)
This is lovely and I love the colour!
Thank you!
The color looks great on you! It’s nice to know that the company treats their workers fairly- lack of ethical companies is such a problem all over the world.
Thank you! I agree, though as I do more research I am discovering more and more ethical brands:)
Such a useful piece and such a pretty colour too! x
