In my childhood home, it was not uncommon to find all five of my family members sitting around with our noses in a book. I’m a big reader, just like my parents and siblings. I don’t talk about books a lot here, but today I thought I’d share the five best books for 2019!
I wore this simple spring/summer ready outfit a week or so ago to grab some lunch and do a quick errand or two. When we really get into summer I’ll just ditch the jacket. It was a big day – my first time out of the house after spending eight days cooped up recovering from my breast reduction (a post on that is coming in the next few months).
If you suffer from anxiety you know how debilitating it can be. Shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, racing thoughts, dissociation, and insomnia, while not life threatening, are scary and have long term consequences on your health. I’ve dealt with anxiety my entire life and, while I haven’t managed to cure myself of it, I have learned some ways that help me manage it so I can get on with things. I hope that this list of tips for dealing with anxiety I have found to be helpful are useful for you.
