Poutine and Prada Nest Fragrances Indigo

Empty products review: Indigo – Nest Fragrances

First up in this empty products review post is a perfume, which is pretty rare for me. Perfume tends to last ages! I picked up Indigo by Nest a few years ago and I adore it. It is one of my signatures scents and reminds me of a big bowl of freshly picked raspberries. It’s slightly sweet but there are definitely green notes in it as well.

From the Sephora website:

Moroccan tea, Kashmir wood, and black cardamom are enhanced with hints of wild fig and bergamot. These notes combine to create a captivating fragrance that transitions well from day to evening.

Would I buy it again? Most definitely, in fact I already have a fresh bottle! Actually, therein lies a funny story. Mr. P&P was in Toronto last year and popped into Sephora to pick up a little treat for yours truly. He sniffed several perfumes until he stumbled upon this one. He loved it and picked up a bottle. When he gave it to me I started laughing, because of the hundreds of perfumes that Sephora carries he’d managed to pick one of my favourites that I’ve been wearing for years! That’s a man who pays attention! Read more

A dupe for Sunday Riley Good Genes All-In One Lactic Acid Treatment that’s too good to keep to myself!

Sunday Riley Good Genes

It’s very dry where I live. Think of a desert with snow. As I’ve aged I’ve found that my skin is less able to cope with the climate than it was when I was younger. It’s still oily but now, for the first time in my life, I am having to deal with the occasional dry patch, some redness, and a general tight feeling in my skin. Unpleasant. I got this generous sample size of Sunday Riley Good Genes All-I-One Lactic Acid Treatment in a Sephora Favourites box of goodies I bought last winter. I finally got around to using it in February and within a few weeks my skin was looking the best it had in a long time. Colour me impressed.

What’s in my product empties box and a mini review of each item

I’ve finished up quite a few products lately and I thought I’d give you a run down of my thoughts on each item in my product empties box with a mini review of each!

Deva Curl Leave-In Decadence

I like to use a leave in conditioner on my hair before applying my styling product. This one was fine. It was not too heavy or greasy. It did not have too much of a scent. I love the Deva Curl shampoo and conditioner that I use but I have to say that this leave-in is nothing special. It does the job but I wasn’t blown away by it and I don’t feel the need to repurchase.
