Hey guys! This is not the post I had planned for today, but I thought this one might be a little more useful. The Sephora VIB summer sale is taking place until August 27th. VIB members take 15% off and VIB Rouge members take 20% off all orders with the code SUMMERSAVE.
I’ve already made my order, but if you’re looking for a little help with what goodies to pick read on for my suggestions! If I have a blog post with a full review of a product pick I have linked it in the titles below. Click on the photos to shop.

Fall. It’s my favourite season. I love the crisp air, the brightly coloured leaves, and the sweaters and boots. What I don’t love is the transition to dry, itchy skin and chapped lips. In today’s post I’m going to take your through my suggestions to update your fall skincare routine and combat that dry air!
It’s very dry where I live. Think of a desert with snow. As I’ve aged I’ve found that my skin is less able to cope with the climate than it was when I was younger. It’s still oily but now, for the first time in my life, I am having to deal with the occasional dry patch, some redness, and a general tight feeling in my skin. Unpleasant. I got this generous sample size of Sunday Riley Good Genes All-I-One Lactic Acid Treatment in a Sephora Favourites box of goodies I bought last winter. I finally got around to using it in February and within a few weeks my skin was looking the best it had in a long time. Colour me impressed.
I like to use a leave in conditioner on my hair before applying my styling product. This one was fine. It was not too heavy or greasy. It did not have too much of a scent. I love the Deva Curl shampoo and conditioner that I use but I have to say that this leave-in is nothing special. It does the job but I wasn’t blown away by it and I don’t feel the need to repurchase.
