This week’s post is one I’ve never done before – an outfit round-up! Here’s every outfit I wore to work last week!
Outfit Round-up: Monday
I am not a Monday person. I do not greet the start of the work week with energy, goals, and peppiness. On Mondays my outfits tend to go one of two ways:
-
Comfortable because the exhaustion is real;
-
Power outfit to motivate me to kick this week’s a$$.
This look falls into the second category. As you know, this blazer is one of my most worn pieces. It’s effortless and I feel great when I wear it. My dress is a second hand Aritzia score and it is just perfect under blazers. It’s slim but not tight and the fabric drapes nicely. It’s a touch short for the office but I am not tall and black tights hide a lot of sins. Lastly, my ankle boots are Sam Edelman, purchased second hand from Poshmark, and they are equal parts comfortable and chic. The side zippers give them a little bit of edge.
Tuesday
The trench coat
When I was packing up the closet in the entry way in our old house I pulled this long forgotten trench coat out of the back. It’s by Joe Fresh and I’ve had it for about ten years. I considered donating it but I’m glad I hung on to it because it’s such a classic piece! My top and skirt are old, leftovers from my fast fashion days. My boots are my beloved Marc Fisher Yale Boots.
Outfit Round-up: Wednesday
Leather and cashmere
Now that fall is here I am so into busting out my beloved leather jacket and my cashmere sweaters. This outfit is comfortable and warm, which is the vibe I’m looking for more often than not. My leather jacket is from Aritzia a couple of seasons ago, my skirt is Everlane, my sweater is J. Crew via eBay, and my boots are Sam Edelman via Poshmark.
Thursday
The best deal of my life
The dress I’m wearing here is Diane Von Furstenberg – she of the iconic wrap dress – and I bought it from a seller on Poshmark for $50! I think that is the best deal I’ve ever come across. Here I’ve paired it with my trusty camel blazer and my Marc Fisher Yale Boots.
Friday
Finally Friday!
We have casual Fridays at my office and I always look forward to styling up my jeans. I added my leather jacket and some pointed toe flats to finish off this casual look. My blouse is Aritzia, but I got it at a consignment store and my jeans are Levi’s Wedgie Fit.
A note on sustainability
I’m aware that a lot of the pieces in the post are fast fashion pieces, however, they are pieces I’ve had in my closet for a long time and still wear. The most sustainable clothes are the ones you already own!
So there you have it, my first outfit round-up! I’d love to know if you enjoy this type of post!

Your DVF dress has such a pretty pattern. I really like it with the camel blazer. It really makes the teal stand out!
Thank you! It’s a fun dress to style:)
Gorgeous! Love the blazer so much
Thanks!
Blazers are definitely becoming a closet essential for me too! You look so stylish in every outfit choice you made this week. Such a cool post you created, I want to see more like this post. Since I’m job searching, it’s fun to learn what others wear to the office <3

Thank you Sarah!
I really love your style
Thank you!
I’m obsessed with those jackets! I once had a mint green trench coat and it was my absolute favorite. Seeing another trench style coat is making me itch to buy a new one!
They’re so classic!
