A little over a month ago I committed to the Slow Fashion Summer for 2019. I wrote about it in some detail here so I’ll try not to repeat myself. Collaction created the challenge, in which participants buy no new clothing (second hand or swapped is ok) for three months. The challenge this season runs from June 21st to September 21st. Their aim was to get 10,000 participants. Currently there are 14,487 people taking part. The point of the challenge is to draw attention to the wasteful nature of fast fashion, one of the world’s biggest polluters.
Fall. It’s my favourite season. I love the crisp air, the brightly coloured leaves, and the sweaters and boots. What I don’t love is the transition to dry, itchy skin and chapped lips. In today’s post I’m going to take your through my suggestions to update your fall skincare routine and combat that dry air!
Poutine and Prada though the years
When I first started posting regularly on Poutine and Prada I talked about beauty products almost exclusively. It was where I was at at the time. I still love talking make-up and skincare but I’m nearly ten years older than I was when I started this blog. My interests have changed and so have the topics I’m interested in talking about here. With these changes come some blogger struggles. I’m having a hard time with this because my blog doesn’t fit neatly into any one category any more. I feel like Poutine and Prada is disorganized and I’ve fallen into the trap of comparing my work with that of the bloggers I admire. My photos never look as good as theirs and my content never seems to read as smoothly.
